Visit the settlement Kapisillit in the Nuuk fiord
A modern boat takes you through the beautiful Nuuk fiord to the small fishing and hunting settlement of Kapisillit which is reached after approx. 2½ hours. The mountains flanking the fjord are some of the oldest in the world and provide precious material for local artists.
Upon arriving at Kapisillit we walk around the settlement and see the iconic church, with a spectacular view of the fiord. There are around 60 inhabitants in Kapisillit. On the way back we walk by the local school and the local store where the locals get their necessary goods.
On the way heading back to Nuuk, we will stop by Qooqqut.

Important Note:
When you are going out on an adventure, it is highly recommended to bring both camera and binoculars. It is also advisable to bring warm clothes. On this boat there is heated cabin, but prepare and bring clothes that keep you warm, when you want to sit outside on the front deck. A neck warmer and glowes is always good.
