Catch fish and eat at Qooqqut Nuan restaurant

Your journey begins with a scenic one-hour boat trip to this hidden gem. On the way, we pause for approximately 20 minutes to catch fresh fish, which will be expertly prepared for your dinner at the renowned Qooqqut Nuan restaurant, a highlight of this experience, and included in the tour price.
Qooqqut was once a sheep breeding station, and its charming old buildings have been lovingly restored to house this high-quality restaurant nestled in stunning natural surroundings.
Around the restaurant, cozy huts are available for guests who wish to stay overnight. The area offers excellent opportunities for hiking in the valley and surrounding mountains, with breathtaking views at every turn. The nearby river is known for Arctic Char fishing, while the fjord itself teems with cod and redfish.

When you go out on an adventure, it is strongly recommended to bring both a camera and binoculars. It is also advisable to bring warm clothes. On this boat there is a heated cabin, but prepare and bring clothes that keep you warm, when you want to sit outside on the front deck.

- Departure is from the “tidestairs” by the Atlantic harbour
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure
- The distance from the bay of Qooqqut to the restaurant is approx. 400 meters of walking. *If you have walking difficulties, it will be possible to get a transfer with an ATV.
