Experience the Icefiord north of Nuuk
This unforgettable boat tour takes you into the stunning Icefjord north of Nuuk, where most of the magnificent icebergs in and around the Nuuk fjord originate.
As we cruise north of the abandoned settlement of Qoornoq, the captain will find the perfect spot among the icebergs for you to admire this breathtaking natural spectacle. Here, you can relax and take in the serene beauty while listening to the glistening ice as bubbles of air are slowly released during the icebergs’ gradual melting.
The fjord displays a dazzling array of icebergs in all shapes and hues of blue, making it a truly majestic experience and luckily, there are still many icebergs to enjoy.
Our tour is operated with comfortable cabin boats equipped with heating and indoor seating for everyone’s comfort. If you prefer, you can also enjoy the cruise from the walkaround deck, which offers cozy outdoor seating.
Occasionally, the tour includes a stop at Camp Kangiusaq, nestled along bird cliffs where you might catch sight of local wildlife, including caribou.
*As this is a full day tour of 6 hours, you should remember to bring lunch*
