Puffin watching tour by boat – just south of Nuuk!
A modern boat takes you through the beautiful Nuuk Fiord to the small island where we will go looking for the puffins. The puffins lay there eggs during the summer. The puffins can be recognized on their beautiful beeks.
They are smaller birds, at around 30 cm. They spend around 7-8 months at the open sea, and only remain on the islands when they lay their eggs.
We can not guarantee to see the puffins as they are wild animals, and the weather, preadtors or simply nature itself can be a difficult co-player.
Important Note:
When you go out on an adventure, it is strongly recommended to bring both the camera and the binoculars. It is also advisable to bring warm clothes. On this boat there is a heated cabin, but prepare and bring clothes that keep you warm, when you want to sit outside on the front deck. A neck warmer and shine is always good.
